“Comparison is the thief of joy.” -Theodore Roosevelt
Be aware, don’t compare. Yes, that’s this week’s message. I bring it to you as I have this heightened awareness about how we tend to compare ourselves to others. Theodore Roosevelt says it best, “Comparison is the thief of joy.”
Instead, I was reminded by my friend, Marty Ward, that we need to be aware of our gifts, talents, and abilities. We are all uniquely made. We are supposed to share those unique talents, gifts and abilities in the way that God intended.
We each have a purpose. We each have unique abilities. That’s where we should focus.
Please stop comparing, be aware and SHARE the real you.
I would love to know your thoughts.
