“Be committed to the process without being emotionally attached to the results.” -Hal Elrod
Decisions, yes, that’s this week’s message. I bring it to you as I decided to open one of my favorite books “Believe You Can” by John Mason.
Coincidence or not? I’m not sure if you are aware of what I do when I have a book like this. I hold it and say what is the message that I need to hear today? Then I open it up to a “random” page.
This week I opened it up to “Results and success follow commitment and decisions. The result is that one decisive person always accomplishes more than a hundred people with just an interest.”
Crazy! If you have been following me at all, you will know that I have been talking a lot about interests and commitments.
Here are a few stories from last week. What it came down to was I decided. I decided to work on my website. To make it me. To make it fun.
I also decided to join a new networking group. I became a premium member. It’s insanity if I keep doing the same thing over and over again all awhile expecting different results.
What do you need to decide on? Decide and move forward on it. You can then decide that it wasn’t the right choice. The truth of the matter is, if you stay in one place you’re going to go insane!
I would love to know your thoughts about deciding. Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
