Criticize Or Create?

“A critic is like the girl who can’t dance so she says the band can’t play.” Yiddish Proverb

Criticize or Create? That is this week’s message.

I bring it to you as I reflect on what a crazy world we live in right now. It appears that everyone is spending so much energy criticizing others and criticizing ourselves. We are so hard on ourselves.

I feel like we should be spending time creating.

It’s been said that when you throw mud at others, it might stick, but your hands are going to be dirty. So why bother?

I say spend your time creating. Spend your energy creating.

Don’t even waste your energy responding to your critics.

Build YOUR momentum. Do what YOU were meant to do. Share the messages that you are meant to share.

When you are being true to yourself, in your inner gut, what does it matter what others think? Spend your time working on you. Not worrying about others.

“What other people think of me is none of my business” –Wayne Dyer.

While doing some research on this very subject I found this article “Would You Rather Criticize, Complain or Create” It gives great advice about how to deal with your natural critic.

I would love to know your thoughts about criticizing versus creating, feel free to email me at
